MAKING A DIFFERENCE IS AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING WE DO
What we do:
We aim to help young people to recognise and achieve their potential.
We achieve this by:
Supporting organisations that provide young people with education, employment, training or other developmental experiences.
Providing direct support to young people, often in partnership with other organisations, such as schools and colleges.
We provide support through:
Furniture donations, as this is our core business and greatest opportunity to leverage our expertise and supply chain for the benefit of others
Active involvement of our staff, suppliers and retailers, for instance in coordinating furniture donations, engaging with local organisations and directly helping young people
Cash contributions, particularly where these can make a bigger difference than furniture donations or are more feasible to implement.
Our focus is clear – and limited. Alas, we cannot make a difference to everybody, everywhere.
We also consider requests from our staff, retailers and customers to support initiatives that they care passionately about.
